It's not often we're able to enjoy a full night sky's worth of stars, but luckily the European Space Agency's on it.
The ESA posted a dreamy timelapse video of the sky seen from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. It was filmed at the launch base for the Ariane 6, a new rocket that'll be used for a wide range of space missions. It will replace the Ariane 5, which has been a go-to for European space launches for years.
Nonetheless, seeing the launch facilities for the Ariana 6 awash in a stunning timelapse of the night sky is an inspiring watch. You'll be up there soon, mate — the first Ariane 6 flight is planned for Q2 2022. Read more...
