Vets have a powerful message for immigrant-hating trolls

Twitter is filled with haters — including some prominent anti-immigration voices like ultra conservative Ann Coulter and Infowars' Alex Jones — targeting immigrants and foreigners in the U.S. 

So a military veterans group called Vets Fight Hate teamed up with the Southern Poverty Law Center to take on the anti-immigration trolls roaming the internet.

The veterans reply with personal tweets and videos to any xenophobic and racist posts. They send messages of tolerance, acceptance and diversity — many explaining how they fought for this country and come from an immigrant family. About two million veterans, or 11 percent of all veterans, have an immigrant background. Read more...
