Sorry, we just dozed off for a second there — Kelly Ripa has chosen Ryan Zzzcrest Seacrest as her new permanent co-host, debuting the new Live with Kelly and Ryan more than a year after Michael Strahan announced he'd be leaving the top-rated morning show.
Seacrest has become ubiquitous at the TV hosting game since establishing himself with American Idol back in the early aughts, and his quest for world domination shows no signs of slowing down. Choosing a career TV host for a new hosting gig is pretty much the least controversial choice the Live team could've made, short of hiring the equally overworked Chris Hardwick. Read more...
