Black Friday TV deals have started. Here are the best sales to shop.

UPDATE: Nov. 11, 2021 5:30 p.m. ET A slew of Samsung QLED TVs are on sale as part of Amazon's early Black Friday deals.

We've gathered the best deals on 4K TVs ahead of Black Friday. These are the top ones to consider as of Nov. 11:

TVs are always a huge ticket item during Black Friday. Last year, Best Buy devoted 10 pages of its Black Friday ad scan to TVs alone. And we're expecting a whole lot of awesome deals again for Black Friday 2021.

And because The Brands have largely said "screw it" about following the actual Black Friday schedule and are just hosting their own events throughout October and November, there are already some great 4K TV deals to shop well ahead of Nov. 26.

Tips for buying a TV on Black Friday

This is the time to splurge on that fancy TV that can turn your basement into a home theater. Or grab an extra TV for the garage or spare room. Black Friday is no longer a one-day or weekend-long event. It spans multiple months, and the best deals aren't just reserved for the day after Thanksgiving.

Supply chain and shipping delays are sure to hit hard this holiday season, so whenever you can get ahead of them and score a deal early, you should take advantage.

What we expect from Black Friday 2021

Black Friday is basically running throughout October and November. A few great TV deals already went live for Walmart's first Deals for Days event on Nov. 3 and its second event on Nov. 10. Best Buy, which was running a sort of weekly savings event for a while, is straight up guaranteeing Black Friday prices at this point. Amazon is continuously adding to an early Black Friday deals page, and silently dropping even better Daily Deals.

These deals are evidence that QLED is getting more affordable, given 55-inch models under $700 and 65-inch models under $1,000. If you're fine with regular 4K LED, you could score a new Samsung 60-inch TV for under $550 at Walmart. Also keep an eye out for deals on Hisense, TCL, and onn. They're not as top-tier in name recognition, but you can often find a pretty nice TV for only a couple hundred bucks.

Samsung TV deals

Why we love it

A 70-inch TV from Samsung for less than $600? That should say it all. Though it's not anything super fancy in the 4K category, the TU6985 Series still gets great reviews for being crisp and responsive for the price. This price could drop closer to $529.99 (we're thinking of a 70-inch Samsung TV deal from Black Friday 2020), but the TV could also sell out before that happens.

Our pick: LG 65-inch C1 Series OLED 4K TV
$1,796.99 at Amazon (save $703)

Why we love it

The LG C1's OLED display has more than 8 million pixels to bring you deep blacks and vibrant colors. Its 4K AI processor adjusts with the content to ensure everything you watch looks the best it can. Its zippy refresh rate keeps heavy-graphics gaming on point, too.

Sony TV deals

Our pick: Sony 55-inch A80J OLED TV
$1,049 at Amazon (save $350)

Why we love it

Sony doesn't often have the budget-friendly range that Samsung or LG do, so a 55-inch OLED TV for $1,399.99 feels pretty good, actually. Not to be confused with the base tier X80J, the A80J is a brilliant high-end TV to pay a little extra for. The near-infinite OLED contrast ratio makes pure black shades pop in bright and dark rooms, and the sound follows what's happening onscreen.

Insignia TV with Fire TV platform

Our pick: Insignia 58-inch F30 4K Fire TV
$349.99 at Best Buy (save $230)

Why we love it

The 58-inch model of the F30 Fire TV is officially cheaper than the 55-inch model (listed at $369.99). The F30 series is the 2021 version of one of the best bargain TVs available. (Not to be confused with the It makes content look crispier than a non-4K TV and obviously have the Fire TV platform built in.
