A few Roombas (including the newest one) are on sale ahead of Black Friday

UPDATE: Nov. 10, 2021 5 p.m. ET The $179.99 deal on the Roomba 694 has sold out, but Amazon has replaced it with a smart mapping, self-emptying Roomba for under $550.

We've tracked down the best deals on Roombas ahead of Black Friday. These robot vacuums have the best discounts as of Nov. 10:

The self-emptying iRobot Roomba i6+ is the same price as the i3+ but brings better features like targeting specific rooms — $549.99 ~~$799.99~~ (save $250)

Whether your cleaning complaints are about having to vacuum at all or just about the clumsy robot vac you currently own, Black Friday is a great time to upgrade to a Roomba.

After much speculation about deals on the newest Roombas, we were greeted with juicy discounts on both the j7 and j7+ in the early days of November. If iRobot is going this hard with recent releases weeks ahead of Black Friday, we're excited to see how just how affordable older self-emptying models may get closer to the big day. (One such instance of this has already happened, with the Roomba i6+ dropping to $549.99.)

If you need automated cleaning before gathering with guests for Thanksgiving, there are a few ways to snag a deal early. A few Roombas are currently discounted (including the i3 at its Black Friday price from last year), and there's also a pretty big list of live robot vacuum deals from brands like Roborock and Ecovacs.

Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon have been running early Black Friday deals since October. All three big retailers have dropped rather unexpected Roomba deals since then (most of which disappear within a week), so keep tabs on this page as deals from iRobot come and go.

Why we like it

The last time we checked, the Roomba i6+ is on sale at Amazon for the same price as the Roomba i3+ at Best Buy. Both self-empty, but the i6+ is a lot smarter. It brings a camera on board and can be sent to (or stay out of) specific rooms as directed by you on the app — a feature that the i3+ doesn't offer.

Why we like it:

The new kid in town is the Roomba j7+. Just released in Sept. 2021, the j7+ is 18% off (baby's first discount) weeks ahead of Black Friday. The glow-up consists of Genius Technology and PrecisionVision Navigation to avoid obstacles that were previously problem-causers, like pet waste and cords. The j7+ also self-empties.
