Tesla hikes prices, again

This week prospective Tesla buyers were hit with a sudden price hike, with one model suddenly becoming $10,000 more expensive. 

Tesla's pricing for its electric vehicles fluctuate constantly, with little warning. Earlier this week, prices went up for certain versions of the Model Y, Model 3, and Model S. Only prices for the Model X remained the same. 

It can be hard to keep up with the changes. Less than a month ago, base prices dropped for the Model 3 and Y. 

The Model S Plaid+ experienced the largest price hike. It’s Tesla’s most premium car, with an expected range of more than 520 miles. It should ship in the middle of 2022. Before, it was $139,990. Now it’s $149,990. Read more...
