Notice anything off about your old Roku player this month? More specifically, did an error message interrupt your attempts to stream The Witcher and season 2 of You on Netflix?

That's no fluke, unfortunately: As of Dec. 1, the popular streaming service no longer works on the first two Roku models "due to technical limitations." (The same goes for select smart TVs that are a couple of years old.)

Au contraire, dear Mashable reader: Several new Roku devices are on sale at Walmart and Amazon right now, meaning you can upgrade your existing (i.e., outdated) media player for cheap.
