Microsoft Paint is not being killed and people are thrilled

Guys, good news: Microsoft isn't actually going to kill its Paint app in the next update of Windows 10.

Paint, which started its life 32 years ago as a monochrome, bitmap Windows 1.0 drawing program, ended up on Microsoft's "Deprecated" list, as reported by The Guardian. 

Microsoft defines "deprecated" as "might be removed from future releases" — not exactly surprising considering that the company demoted the app when it released 3D Paint in the Windows 10 Creators Update. 

But Microsoft later released a blog post to reassure hardcore Paint fans that the app wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.  Read more...
