Since learning of Linkin Park's frontman Chester Bennington's tragic death by apparent suicide last Thursday, there has been an outpouring of love from fans and band members on social media.
On Monday, Linkin Park addressed Bennington's death publicly, writing him a heartfelt letter shared with fans on the band's official Facebook page:
"Our hearts are broken. The shockwaves of grief and denial are still sweeping through our family as we come to grips with what has happened," the bandmates began, going on to describe the positive and powerful impact Bennington had on this world, which was further exemplified by the massive amounts of support they'd received.
