The newest Zelda game is set in a huge world with tons of hills, lakes, and cities to explore...that sometimes stutter and freeze up while you're doing so. Fortunately, there's a patch for that.
Nintendo sent out an update for Zelda: Breath of the Wild late last night that vaguely claimed to improve your Link-exploring experiences. Specifically, it turns out, that has to do with the game's frame rate, which has noticeable dips in certain areas of the word.
YouTube users at GameXplain put the update to the test to show those improvements side-by-side, visiting some of the more notorious frame rate dipping spots in the video above. Though the issue isn't 100% fixed, it certainly seems an improved, more pleasant experience. Read more...
